Corrosion resistance Adapted materials selection
Choosing the right material is crucial for the durability and safety of solar systems.
Notice: Complaints about a solar system constructed with incorrect materials can quickly lead to a loss of product liability insurance coverage!
CRC stands for corrosion resistance class. The following are used in solar technology:
- CRC II (1.4301 or 1.4567): Ideal for installations in rural and urban areas with a low to medium exposure risk.
- CRC III (1.4401 or 1.4571): Recommended for applications in maritime regions and other environments with an increased risk of corrosion.
